Very Zen with minimalist approaches in decor but not minimalist where food is concerned. Prodigious quantities of sushi and sashimi and other interesting and rare specialties are served.

The decor displays the minimalist Japanese feel without the paraphernalia found in many others. The menu features a range of sushi and sashimi, teppanyaki, unagi, salad and mashed potato. A variety of sake is also available.

SHINJUKU JAPANESE RESTAURANT is the first branch in KL since 18th February 2010, we are located at No.74, Jalan 27/70A, Desa Sri Hartamas,50480 Kuala Lumpur. our first restaurant is at Penang. We have more than 180 dishes to be chosen, our most popular dishes are Grill Saba fish, deep fried Soft shell crab with special Mayonnaise on top, Shake kawa maki, Buta stamina , Syouga Yaki, Gomuku Ramen and many many others.

A calming ambience and cosy seating areas reflects the serenity of traditional Japanese decor. The traditional opening gambit of sushi and sashimi are executed with varying degrees of success. Watch the chef whip up delicious meals on an open grill.

The main dining room is encased in large glass windows that overlook a lake. The outlet recreates the ambience of typical Japanese countryside dining. To complement this, it offers countryside specialities with slight alterations between lunch and dinner menus.
