WARIS NOVE SDN BHD is a fully owned Malaysian Company was incorporated on 20th August 2004. The Company was set up by a group of professionals to actively manufacture and produce Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) from Agro Based Product.
Besides, the Company also has been acknowledged by Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA) through approval of Pioneer Status application;Galakan Taraf Perintis Di Bawah Akta Penggalakan Pelaburan, 1986 Bagi Mengeluarkan ‘Cellulose and Carboxymethylcellulose From Palm Oil Empty Fruit Bunch’ on 19th January 2010.Waris Nove Sdn.Bhd is the FIRST and ONLY manufacturer and producer of Cellulose and Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) in MALAYSIA .
CMC from agro based product is water soluble and biodegradable polymer on natural basis and it'is also the most versatile of all water soluble hydrophilic polymer that can act in increasing the viscosity and stability of foodstuff.

CMC is an anionic, water soluble and biodegradablepolymer on natural basis and it is also the most versatileof all water soluble hydrocolloids.

Construction Industry: CMC is used in most of cement compositions as well as construction materials because it acts as a stabilizer and hydrophilic agent. It improves the sand distribution in the cement, and intensifies it's adhesive properties. It is also used as gluing substance on paper.
Food Industry: CMC is used on foods as an auxiliary agent in the shaking of ice creams, and creams; as an supplementary compound to produce gels in jellies and puddings; as a thickener in dressings and fillings; as a suspending agent in fruit juices; as a protecting colloid in emulsions and mayo; as a coating composite for fruit surfaces; and as a stabilizer for ready to bake products. Due to the fact that CMC is not metabolized by the human body, it's use on low calories products has been approved.

Paper Industry: CMC acts as a coat reducing the amount use of wax in paper and cardboard, due to a significant decrease of the wax penetration on it. It also diminishes the amount of ink used on prints, which as a result brighter surfaces. CMC also makes the surface softer, it strengthens the union between fibers, it improves the coloring of paper as well as it's resistance to grease. CMC is also used as an auxiliary dispersant in the extrusion of cellulose compound fibers in order to avoid the flocculation of them.
Agriculture: In pesticides and water based sprays, CMC acts as a suspending agent. It also works as an adhesive after it is applied to unite the insecticide to the plant's leaves. In some cases CMC is used a an auxiliary agent in the degradation of several extremely contaminating fertilizers.
