“Ipoh White Coffee” is an internationally renowned local drink. The coffee species that is widely well-received had its origin in “Chang Jiang Coffee Shop (White Coffee)” in the town of Ipoh. After the developments in a few decades, the coffee shop has grown into “Chang Jiang International Sdn Bhd” of today.

Founded in 1995, “Chang Jiang International Sdn Bhd” is a well-known “White Coffee” manufacturing enterprise in Malaysia. Chang Jiang is acclaimed as the originator of white coffee and the first enterprise that operates white coffee business as a brand according to the town-folks’ stories.

To produce best quality white coffee, Chang Jiang International takes charge of all the procedures from bean selections to sales. After years of efforts and with good management, we have grown from strength to strength along a diversified line by marketing a number of white coffee and a range of beverages with our ‘own brands’.

Chang Jiang International  Sdn Bhd is the supplier of white coffee, black coffee, tea and lemon tea powder for more than thousand of coffee shop chains in Malaysia.
The Company is processing  ISO:22000 Certificate and obtained Halal Certification from the Islamic Religious Department of Perak.

These tasty treats are well-received domestically and overseas in countries like Singapore, Hong Kong and China.  The key reason the company is penetrating local and overseas market is its commitment in embracing stringent quality and standard control over the years.

The Brand Story

Chang Jiang White Coffee, the coffee brand that is imbued with legends was founded by its proprietor Mr. Kong Wing Kheong .

Mr. Kong set up a food and beverage outlet “Chang Jiang Coffee Shop” along Jalan Pasir Putih, Ipoh, in the 70’s. With some knowledge on coffee roasting and the persistence in the pursuit of his ideals in coffee, he carried out ‘trial and error’ experiments that finally created a new coffee variety – White Coffee.

“Chang Jiang International Sdn Bhd” not only has made “White Coffee” a local brand, but also a collective memory for many Ipohans. Meanwhile, this premium coffee has advanced to international stage earning global acclaim as “Ipoh White Coffee”.

Chang jiang International Sdn Bhd has a perfect production system supported by a wealth of experience and techniques and is a business partner of many food and beverage groups in and outside the country. Factory Production

As a leader in white coffee manufacturing, Chang Jiang International has set up a number of plants for producing white coffee. The production system in the plants is in compliance with the International Standards for Quality Management System (ISO) for producing white coffee and an array of products.

Our plants are located at Taman Lapangan Ria, Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. We have dozens of skilled workers in the plants and the production is operated by human labor and machineries. More plants we have are used as different manufacturing units such as bean frying, roasting and packaging.

There are several high efficiency production lines in the plants for the production of different products. The plants are divided into several departments that are manned by our staff assigned to various posts. This is further complemented by our well-designed work procedure, making the production of premium white coffee and a series of drinks possible.

Chang Jiang International that has a long history of producing premium white coffee has been awarded Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).

It has a complete monitoring system for its production in factory with a stringent quality control from the process of bean selection to packaging to ensure there are always best quality white coffee products for the enjoyment of consumers.

Many years ago, Chang Jiang International expanded its business of high quality white coffee overseas. Its current market domain covers China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and other S. E. Asian regions and among its customers, there are sole distributors, food and beverage groups, chain coffee houses etc.

We have different types of Marketing Place/Channel ready in above regions. We are sufficiently equipped with the requirements, experience and resources to closely collaborate with you in all aspects when you are prepared to operate either in distribution or chain business model.

Preparing coffee drinks is a very ‘personalized’ skill. Different masters apply different hand movements they prefer making the drinks slightly different from each other. To make every cup of white coffee having a standard taste, the ‘techniques’ is of crucial importance.

OEM is one of the businesses of Chang Jiang International.  We have set up a stable OEM system in our plants and successfully manufactured white coffee brands for a number of business partners under OEM and thus won their trust and support.

In other words, we are only responsible for the production side and the rest is the work of the original manufacturer.
