The company started its operation in Kuala Lumpur with six staff and has grown from strength to strength to its present force of sixty person. We are able to offer an extensive range of industrial equipment and services and two wholly-owned subsidiary companies in Penang and Johor Bahru.

HISTORICAL PROFILE
  • 1978 Sumber Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. Was formed.
  • 1991 Acquired Instant Scaffolds & Marketing Sdn. Bhd. As a Subsidiary Company
  • 1996 Shifted to our own building at Wisma Sumber
  • 1996 Established Sumber Engineering Trading (M) Sdn. Bhd. ( a subsidiary formed to take over trading activities from Sumber Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd.
  • 1997 Trading activities officially assumed by Sumber Engineering Trading (M) Sdn. Bhd.
  • 2000 Change of company name from Sumber Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. To Sumber Co. Sdn. Bhd.

  • 2006 Privatised the two branches in Penang and Johor Bahru and set-up two wholly-owned subsidiary companies:
  • a) IASE Trading Sdn. Bhd.
