About Us :
HENG HUAT was incorporated in Malaysia under the Act on 25 November 2011 as a private limited company under the name of Heng Huat Resources Group Sdn Bhd. We were subsequently converted into a public limited company and assumed our present name on 18 June 2012 to facilitate our listing on the ACE Market.
We are principally involved in the manufacturer, trading of biomass material and value-added products focusing on oil palm EFB fibre, coconut fibre and value-added products. We are also amanufacturer and distributor of our own brands of mattress and bedding accessories.
Biomass Materials Manufacturing
Our Group’s biomass materials manufacturing operations are carried out by our subsidiaries namely, HK Fibre, HK Kitaran and HK Palm Fibre.
We treat and process coconut husks and EFBs utilising our proprietary production process to produce large quantities of high quality fibres at a competitive price.
We exert stringent quality controls over our production processes and this enabled us to produce quality coconut and oil palm fibres which are not only long, clean and fine, but also with great uniformity and low oil content. As a testament to our commitment to quality, our subsidiary, HK Kitaran has been awarded the MS ISO 9001:2012.
Currently, most of our oil palm fibres are exported overseas directly and/or through agents. The oil palm fibres are exported to China where it is mainly used as raw materials for the production of mattresses.
Meanwhile, we consume a majority of our self-produced coconut fibres through our manufacturing of value-added products such as mattress fibre sheets and coconut peats. We have lined-up various initiatives to innovate new manufacturing and processing technologies to produce various other higher value-added products.Fully-Integrated Fibre Mattress and Other Bedding Accessories Manufacturing
Our Group’s fibre mattress manufacturing operations are carried out by our subsidiaries namely, Fibre Star and Fibre Star Marketing.
Our Group is one of few mattress manufacturers who have successfully moved upstream into the manufacturing of our own mattress fibre sheets which is made from coconut fibres.
We are a fully integrated fibre mattress, divan and headboard manufacturer where we design, market, produce and distribute our own branded fibre mattresses “Fibre Star” made with our self-produced mattress fibre sheets, whilst our other bedding accessories likes cushion, pillow and bolster are marketed under the brand “Xiong Mao”.
Currently, we distribute all our fibre and other mattress and bedding accessories to furniture retailers in Malaysia.
By manufacturing our own mattress fibre sheets, we are able to effectively control the availability of materials, allowing us the flexibility to scale up production with greater predictability while at the same time, giving us greater control over production costs through the reduction of production time and material costs.
In addition, we have also been performing OEM of fibre mattresses for reputable brands in local market.
Our History & Business :
In 2009, we also established HK Kitaran to manufacture oil palm EFB fibre with oil palm EFB supply from its surrounding oil palm plantations and palm oil mills in Seberang Perai Selatan, Penang.
HK Kitaran began its operation with three (3) production lines and a total monthly production capacity of 1,560 mt of oil palm EFB fibre, which was increased to ten (10) production lines and a total monthly production capacity of 4,914 mt of oil palm EFB fibre subsequent to our plant expansion in 2011.Heng Huat Group Of Companies
