As a trade company, trading in palm oil and derivatives, coconut oils and derivatives, soft oils and cocoa products, Asian Food Ingredients Sdn. Bhd.(AFI)’s filling plants trade in a capacity of 20,000 MT a month. AFI markets to an extensive 30 countries worldwide without compromising on the quality of service regardless of consumer or industrial size. 
We pride ourselves with efficient machinery and structure as our filling plants are aptly integrated with state of the art plastic jerry can manufacturing facilities.
AFI is a registered and licensed business entity in Malaysia (C0. No 704406A).
About Our Director
Kumaran Maridas has a wealth of experience in all aspects of trading edible oils and palm oil and is well versed with the processes that entail smooth and efficient delivery of the products to the customers. As well as being Managing Director, his directorial responsibilities include operations, sales and overseas business development.
A Brief History of AFI
AFI was founded in 2005 in Selangor, Malaysia. Kumaran Maridas joined the company in 2009 and took over the reins from the original owners. He had a vision of developing the business of selling a product that is universally consumed—edible oils and palm oil — to greater heights!
Since 2009, through his experiences and good contacts he managed to spread AFI’s reach to a more global stature, reaching out to 30 countries worldwide. The management team has since been strengthened and the company is now ensconced in 2.5 acres of dedicated office and manufacturing facility in Klang, Selangor.
During this time, the business has grown exponentially and is now one of the foremost palm oil and edible oils trader in Malaysia.

• MINISTRY OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE & INDUSTRY MALAYSIA (MITI)
In addition, all products by AFI are certified halal. AFI’s best practices fall within an enforceable code of practice governing its conduct and operations by these associations.
