Our History & Business

Monzir Design Productions (MDP), a wholly owned Bumiputra company was established on March 22, 1985 and incorporated as a Sendirian Berhad in 2008. MDP started off producing greetings cards particularly for the Aidilfitri segmentation. The greeting cards were marketed under the ‘Malaysian Greetings’ brand which went on to be one of the most renowned brands locally.

Services & Product Range

From greetings cards, MDP went on to expand its scope of industry to include corporate identity services, design production, sales and after sales service of the Areon range of air fresheners, and promotional items. MDP also produces and/or supplies seasonal products and marketing materials, library furniture and equipment, digital printing and anything else you can make out of pixels and paper. Our products are distributed through a vast retail distribution network of over 850 retail outlets covering Malaysia and Singapore.

Expanding Our Business

We continuously look fowards in expanding our client list and identifying new products and services to add to our portfolio. We strive to meet and anticipate the needs of our clients and of the market. 2011 served as a milestone in the history of the company as we officially split into 2 business divisions (Trading & Advertising) thus giving more focus and expanding expertise within each entity and treating each of it personally as a separate profit and cost centre.

Sole impoter of AREON Air Freshners

Under Trading division,Monzir Design Productions Sdn Bhd hold an exclusive rights as sole impoter of AREON Air Freshners for Malaysia market by Balev Corporation Ltd, Bulgaria. The Air Freshener business division is therefore responsible for the importing, marketing and sales of AREON products across Malaysia. To-date, the division has secured over 600 retail outlet which includes TESCO Stores (M) Berhad and Aeon Berhad.

Producing Printed Materials

Meanwhile, our Advertising division focus is on producing printed materials to serve the needs of our business customers. It specializes in designing and printing banners, buntings, back-drop for events, folders, brochures, paperbags, postcards, announcement cards, booklets, biz-documents, letterheads, premium items and more. Beside digital printing,we involve in Signage and Media industries such as Architectural Signs, External Signs, Internal Sign, Back Lighted Signs and Billboards. This division also handle media event and our satisfied client includes PKNS Group and PHB (Perbadanan Hartanah Berhad).
